*whispers* it’s almost pride month… But for now we have to get through the last day of May. When this posts, I’ll be in New York City for BookExpo and BookCon, which is part of the reason I’m comfortable posting a May 2019 wrap-up before May is technically over. Plus, I kind of have to post this today, because starting tomorrow is… *drum roll*
30 Days of Pride
Hopefully, you’ve already heard, but if you haven’t, I’m here to tell you about 30 Days of Pride! To celebrate Pride Month, Tay @ Stay on The Page is co-hosting an event with me, and it starts tomorrow! I’ll be keeping a list of all the posts published between our two blogs at this pagethis page so you can catch up if you miss a day. We have a lot of great posts coming up, and I really hope you enjoy! By the way, we do have a few spots left at the end of the month. So if you read a couple posts and decide you’d like to participate, let one of us know!

Review coming: No review — But I have to say that I saw the movie and read this after and I love, love, LOVE the movie. I got this at my brother’s school book fair (yes, I went to an elementary Scholastic book fair) and I had to get it, and, well, this isn’t much of a story, but the movie associated with it is great! If I reviewed movies, it’d be a 5 star review, but I don’t review movies

Put Down in May 2019
Anger Is A Gift by Mark Oshiro
Status: Paused at 31%
Reason: I plan on picking this us again in the future! I was listening to the audiobook, which I bought on Audible, and really enjoying it. The thing made me put it down was that I was searching the internet to try to figure out how to spell a character’s name and I came across a major spoiler. Reading that definitely threw me out of the mood of reading it so I’ve had to pause it.

This is the first time I have come across a post where someone has mentioned why they have DNF’ed a book and might pick it up in the future. I think it was super cool of you
