Personal Wrap-Up of the First Quarter of 2020
Well, a whole heck of a lot has happened in the first few months of this year. Particularly in March 2020. I mean… *gestures vaguely at the state of the world*
I’ve been affected by the pandemic in several ways. While I’m lucky enough to technically still have my job, there are no hours for me right now. Isolation has been difficult, but I know it’s hard on everyone else, too. I’m incredibly worried about my future for the rest of the year. This fall was going to be the semester I was going to return to college, but I have no idea if that’s happening now.
In an attempt to give myself a schedule and a reason to stay awake during the day, I’ve decided to come back to blogging! Among other things, of course. When the weather was nice for approximately a week and a half, I was walking the dogs a lot and sitting outside to read. But, you know, April showers.
So now I’ve spent a couple weeks coming up with ideas for blog content and outlining a schedule for these posts. I wanted to say here that I’m no longer trying to give full, in-depth reviews to every book I read. Instead, I want to just hype up the books I really enjoyed and want others to read, too. Which has led me to doing “7 Reasons You Should Read…” posts in place of reviews. I hope you all enjoy this shift in content!
I’m still getting back into the swing of things, so I can’t say I have great big things planned yet, but I’m getting tons of new ideas every day! So stay tuned for that.
I hope you’re all well and safe out there!
