We’ve made it, everyone; 2018 is officially over! Many of you have surely heard throughout the past 12 months that 2018 was proclaimed to be 20GayTeen by queer icon, Hayley Kiyoko. Continuing the year for the queer, we as a community have almost unanimously decided that January 1st, 2019 was the first day of 20BiTeen—a year for people who identify as bisexual, biromantic, bigender, or anything else under the queer, bi umbrella.
As a bi book blogger, I wanted to use my platform to promote some books releasing in 2019 that feature bi characters, which is the list you’ll find below. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to read any of these yet, so I don’t have many details on the story other than what I’ve been told by those who’ve received ARCs. I’ve tried my best to specify if the bi character is bisexual or biromantic (so far, I have no bigender characters) and if they’re a main or ensemble character. Also worth noting, the books are listed in order of release date!

I hope that this list will become one that people come back to throughout the year, so I do plan on updating this post as more details emerge about 2019 releases. For now, we can start off the year with 17 bi books to look forward to! Which of these books are you most anticipating? I can’t wait for I Wish You All the Best and Red, White, and Royal Blue.
15/03/2019 EDIT: We now have 24 books listed! Most of them are YA, so please let me know of any books in other age groups that feature bi characters. I want as much variety as possible on this list 😀
Am I missing a book that you know should be on this list? Comment below or message me on another platform!

So many bi books!! I already pre-ordered I Wish You All The Best and I can’t wait. Some of these I didn’t even know had bi protagonists.
Most of these I hadn’t know had bi characters until I asked Twitter about what they knew. I’m glad there’s so many awesome stories to look for!
Oh I’m pleasantly surprised with how many of these I already have preordered, but I can’t wait to check out some more of these!! Great post, thank you so much for gathering this list together!!
Making this list definitely got me interested in some books that I otherwise may not have found, and I’m glad it’s done the same for you! Thanks for checking it out 😁
