The Gaylist: A Gay Playlist | 30 Days of Pride

To begin the month, I would like to introduce you to a playlist of upbeat, LGBTQ+ themed songs I’ve curated over the past couple of weeks, otherwise known as The Gaylist. I wanted to make this partially to familiarize myself with more queer artists and partially to create the feeling of Pride Month in a Spotify playlist.

I’m going to keep this post short and sweet. This gay playlist — The Gaylist, if you will — currently has 43 songs on it. The majority of these songs are queer songs by queer artists. The few songs by cisgender, heterosexual, heteroromantic artists are about the queer rights movement or are a big part of queer culture. Still, I want this to be a mostly Own Voices playlist.

I do plan to add to this as the month goes on and I think of more songs and more are suggested to me. So feel free to put your suggestions in the comments below and I will add them when I get a chance.
