WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday – April 22nd, 20202 min read

Posted on 22 Apr 202027 Apr 2020

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. To participate, just answer the following questions:

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

Since I’m coming back from blogging hiatus, I figured I’d let everyone know what I’ve been up to. Which is to say, what I’ve been reading and planning to read. What better way to do it than with a simple WWW Wednesday post?

What are you currently reading?

Cover of The Total Eclipse of Nestor LopezCover of Failure To Communicate by Kaia SønderbyThis week I’m trying to finish up Failure to Communicate by Kaia Sønderby and The Total Eclipse of Nestor Lopez by Adrianna Cuevas. I started reading Failure To Communicate for the Autistic Pride Readathon going on the whole month. I began The Total Eclipse of Nestor Lopez for the Stay Home Reading Rush (which I didn’t quite finish…) Both books will also count on the Social Distancing Reading Bingo boards I’m doing. So I’ve been pretty busy with reading challenges.

What did you recently finish reading?

I’ve been reading a lot, so I’ve finished a bunch of books I haven’t had the chance to talk about on my blog yet. The five most recent are Knit One, Girl Two by Shira Glassman, Woven In Moonlight by Isabel Ibañez, Take Me Out by Richard Greenberg, Other Words for Home by Jasmine Warga, and Funny, You Don’t Look Autistic by Michael McCreary. But don’t worry! I plan on talking about each of these more depth in the coming months.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Cover of Bride Test by Helen HoangAssuming I do get the two books from the first question finished this week, I think I’ll start Bride Test by Helen Hoang. Since it’s still Autistic Acceptance Month, I feel like I should pick up another book with an autistic main character, even if I don’t quite finish it this month. (But fingers crossed I maintain the motivation to finish it in April.) Even If I have to start it in May, I’ll still probably pick it up sooner rather than later.

Happy Wednesday and happy reading, everyone!

About Ben

I’m a 23-year-old trying to finish a college degree and find the time to talk about books and the world. When I’m not reading or writing, I’m usually talking someone’s ear off about baseball or hockey. One day I hope to speak all the languages so I can read all the books.
