Put Down in December 2018

las negras.jpgLas Negras by Yolanda Arroyo Pizarro

Status: On pause?

Reason: I started reading this for a class assignment, but now I’m starting to rethink how to tackle the assignment. Since I’m technically on winter break anyway, I’ve decided not to worry about it until January at the earliest, and seeing this on my CR shelf is driving me up a wall. So it’s on pause, maybe dropped. I don’t know. I stressing just typing this excuse, honestly.

Status: On pause

Reason: This one is definitely on pause. I’ve borrowed this from my library twice and haven’t been able to get into it, but this time I realized it’s because I really just need to buy my own copy so I can make notes in the book while I’m reading it. That’s how I prefer to take notes with nonfiction, and since this is a subject that relates to the career I’m pursuing, I think I’m better off investing in a copy of my own.

How was your December?

I am a writer of stories, opinions, and reviews. Currently, in undergrad, I'm studying to become a literary translator by majoring in Spanish, minoring in English and digital media technologies. One day I hope to speak all the languages so I can read all the books.

My friends hyped it up so much that it was getting ridiculous that I hadn’t read it yet lol But I so glad I finally got to it. And I’m glad you enjoyed it too! 😃
