December was a wild month because I had to cram in as many books as possible to complete my reading challenge. But I also had fall semester finals so it was a bit chaotic. Here’s my reading wrap-up.

Status: On pause?
Reason: I started reading this for a class assignment, but now I’m starting to rethink how to tackle the assignment. Since I’m technically on winter break anyway, I’ve decided not to worry about it until January at the earliest, and seeing this on my CR shelf is driving me up a wall. So it’s on pause, maybe dropped. I don’t know. I stressing just typing this excuse, honestly.
Spanglish: The Making of a New American Language by Ilan Stavans
Status: On pause
Reason: This one is definitely on pause. I’ve borrowed this from my library twice and haven’t been able to get into it, but this time I realized it’s because I really just need to buy my own copy so I can make notes in the book while I’m reading it. That’s how I prefer to take notes with nonfiction, and since this is a subject that relates to the career I’m pursuing, I think I’m better off investing in a copy of my own.
Nice wrap-up! Just followed your blog and am looking forward to reading more of your posts!
Thanks you!
I read Nimona in December too and loved it as well! It was such a fun graphic novel, I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did 🙂
My friends hyped it up so much that it was getting ridiculous that I hadn’t read it yet lol But I so glad I finally got to it. And I’m glad you enjoyed it too! 😃
