Happy Halloween, everyone! Now that we’re in October, all the creatives are putting their own spin on the month’s name to correspond to their chosen medium. In years past, I’ve tried my hand at Inktober, Booktober, and even thought about doing ARCtober this year, but I realized I write faster than I read. So here I am introducing my attempt at Blogtober.
My goal this month is to post at least one blog post each day for all 31 days of October. And, yes, it’s already the fifth day, and I probably should have announced this on Monday, but hey, better late than never! Plus I haven’t failed yet. I published two Down the TBR Hole post (one, two), my September reading wrap-up, and a book review this week.
Tomorrow also begins Shattering Stigmas 4.0 which, if you’ve been following me for the past month, is a blogging event that you’re probably tired of hearing about and just want to see already. Well, tomorrow is the day, so stay tuned. Plus I’ll be publishing a post from a different person’s perspective every day from the 6th (tomorrow) until the 20th. After Shattering Stigmas 4.0 is finished, this blog will go back to its regularly scheduled programming (tag memes, book reviews, me shouting about how much I want to read and then not reading anything at all, etc.) for the rest of the month. Finally, when November rolls around, I’ll go back to my two-or-three-posts-per-week style of blogging.
And with that, I wish everyone a spooky month filled with creativity in whatever -tober event you’re doing!
